WHAT IS AN OCT?
OCT (or Original Character Tournament) are collaborative art events
where artists enter their OCs into a story where they face off against
their fellow artists and their OCs!
The OCT starts off with an "Audition" process, where everyone and
anyone is allowed to join with their own original character and stories. Through visual mediums (comics, animations, visual novels, etc.), artists tell the story of their OC using
the Parasomnia Premise as a guideline.
The "Tournament" aspect comes in after the audition period is finished!
From all the auditions we select 32 entries to move on into single elimination tournament styled brackets.
Each round starts with contestants getting randomly paired up against
each other to decide which character(s) your OC will have to go against. Story wise, it is up to you how your character "wins" their round.
Do they go for an all out battle against each other?
Are they able to resolve things peacefully? Do they team up together to take
out a bigger threat? It's all up to you!
After a round ends, the judges then take time to
deliberate and decide which contestant will get to continue their
story into the next round!

The tournament continues for 5 rounds until one
contestant is chosen as the winner!
But don't get discouraged if you do get knocked out, as you're
always welcome to continue your entry outside of the main tournament
through spectator entries! In the end we want to have fun with their stories
rather than focusing solely on winning!
